Report on training and education activities and updated planning

The deliverable reports about the implementation of the initial education and training plan carried out in Task 7.2, and documents the updated version of the planning developed in Task 7.1, according to amendments recommended in the relevant section of D2.2. It is produced by FHP (Task 7.2 Leader).

Third year communication report, and updated communication plan

The report concerns the description of communication activities during months 25-36 and the planning for the fourth year. It includes the planning and the reports on scientific communication (task 8.3), events (task 8.4) and outreach (task 8.6). It is produced by KNAW (WP 8 Leader).

Report on common design requirements

The deliverable contains recommendations for the design of future repositories in order to support interoperability among them and, whenever possible, with legacy datasets. It is produced by CNR (Task 5.5 Leader)

Report on the implementation of the Joint Resource Registry

The deliverable documents the interim implementation of the Joint Resource Registry developed in Task 6.4. It details its use and the functionalities it provides. It is produced by CNR, WP Leader.

Report on user requirements

The deliverable is a comprehensive report of the survey formed by distinct sections, listed below, with a common introduction on the methodology. The deliverable is produced by CLARIN, the WP2 Leader basing on material produced by task leaders. Requirements concerning data policies. The section concerns user needs on policies about data lifecycle, data curation and long-term preservation; access and authentication policies; quality assessment of digital repositories; and IPR management and privacy issues. The section is based on the outcomes of sub-tasks 2.1.1, 2.1.2 and 2.1.3. Standardization requirements. The section concerns the standardization requirements indicated by the various communities, and indicates priorities, common areas and emerging issues. It is based on the outcomes of Task 2.2. Interoperability, services and tools requirements. The section concerns the interoperability level, joint services and tools requirements indicated by the communities, and states priorities, common areas and emerging issues. It is based on the outcomes of Task 2.3. Education and training needs. The section concerns education and training, describing the current provision and the needs indicated by the communities, and states priorities, common areas and emerging issues. It is based on the outcomes of Task 2.4. Communication needs. The section concerns the communication needs indicated by the various communities, and states priorities, common areas and emerging issues. It is based on the outcomes of Task 2.5.

First year communication report, and updated communication plan

The report concerns the description of communication activities during months 1-12 and the planning for the second year. It includes the planning and the reports on scientific communication (task 8.3), events (task 8.4) and outreach (task 8.6). It is produced by KNAW (WP 8 Leader).

Report on the assessment of the education and training plans and activities

The deliverable assesses the education and training plan and activities produced in WP7 comparing them with the communities’ needs, and proposing corrections or integrations if necessary. The deliverable is produced by FHP (Task 2.4 Leader).

Report on the assessment of interoperability, services and tools

The deliverable assesses the joint services and tools produced in WP5 and WP6, and comparing them with the communities’ needs, and proposing amendments if necessary. The deliverable is produced by CNR (Task 2.3 Leader).

Report on mapping (final)

The deliverable documents the final version of the mapping produced in Task 5.2 after testing interim results in Task 2.3. It includes examples and applications to relevant case studies. It includes examples and application scenarios. It is produced by CNR (Task 5.2 Leader).

Report on the common semantic framework (final)

The deliverable documents the final version of the core and domain semantic framework produced in Task 5.1 after testing interim results in Task 2.3. It includes examples and application scenarios. It is produced by FORTH (Task 5.1 Leader).

Report on the assessment of Trans National Access activities in participating projects

The deliverable reports the assessment about the implementation of TNA activities within participating RI projects (ARIADNE, CENDARI, CHARISMA, EHRI). It is produced by KNAW (Task 7.3 Leader).

Report on the common semantic framework (interim)

Web site design

The deliverable describes the design of the web site and of the portal, and reports about the functionalities and services initially implemented. It is produced by PIN (Task 8.1 Leader).

Report on the implementation of the Joint Resource Registry (final)

The deliverable documents the final implementation of the Joint Resource Registry developed in Task 6.4, after testing interim results in Task 2.3, including instructions its use. In a separate section it reports about the current content as uploaded by partners. It is produced by CNR, WP Leader.

Standardization Survival Kit (final)

This is the final version of D4.1, produced after revision and testing by the communities. It is produced by INRIA (Task 4.1 Leader).

PARTHENOS cloud infrastructure (initial)

The deliverable is a report illustrating the design and implementation of the initial PARTHENOS infrastructure. It is produced by CNR, WP Leader.

Report on mapping (interim)

The deliverable documents the interim version of the mapping produced in Task 5.2. It includes examples and applications to relevant case studies. It is produced by CNR (Task 5.2 Leader).

Initial training and education plan

The deliverable reports the initial the training and education plan, early developed in Task 7.1 to organize the project’s training activities. The report consists of two independent parts. The first one described the principles and features of the training implementation and has a general validity. The second details the planning of how this principles are going to be implemented in the project, within Task 7.2. It is produced by TCD (Task 7.1 Leader).

Final report on training and education activities

The deliverable reports about the implementation of the initial education and training plan carried out in Task 7.2 in the second period and the final adjustments to the education and training plan. It is produced by FHP (Task 7.2 Leader).

Report on the assessment of data policies and standardization

The deliverable is a report of the assessment activity and its outcomes, formed by the two distinct sections listed below, with a common introduction. The deliverable is produced by CLARIN, the WP2 Leader, basing on material produced by task leaders. Assessment of data policies. The section concerns the assessment of the project outcomes concerning policies about data lifecycle, data curation and long-term preservation; access and authentication policies; quality assessment of digital repositories; and IPR management and privacy issues. It reviews the usability of the guidelines produced, and describes any amendment perceived as necessary. It is based on the outcomes of sub-tasks 2.1.1, 2.1.2 and 2.1.3. Assessment of standards. The section concerns the assessment of the technical standardization solutions produced in WP4 comparing them with the communities’ needs, and proposing amendments if necessary. It is based on the outcomes of Task 2.2.

Report on services and tools (final)

The deliverable documents the final version of the services and tools developed in the WP after testing interim results in Task 23 with a structure similar to D62 It includes examples and application scenarios It is produced by CNR WP Leader

Final communication report

The report includes the description of communication, scientific communication and outreach activities and the events organized during months 37-48, and assesses all the WP activities carried out during the project, providing overall statistics and comparisons. It also includes the complete list of publications. It is produced by KNAW (WP 8 Leader).

Guidelines for common policies implementation (final)

The deliverable is the final version of D3.1, after review and testing, and has the same structure. It is produced by KNAW, the WP3 Leader basing on material produced by task leaders.

Report on services and tools (interim)

The deliverable documents the interim version of all the services tools developed in the WP, presenting contributions from Tasks 6.2, 6.3 and 6.5 in separate sections. It includes examples and application scenarios. It is produced by CNR, WP Leader.

Report on the integration of reference resources

The deliverable is the final version of D55 addressing a more advanced level of integrationmultilingualism and taking into account the outcomes of testing done in Task 23 It is produced by FORTH Task 53 Leader

Report on standardization (draft)

Community standards for documentation (draft) The section describes the practical use of community standards for documenting primary data and sources, including an inventory of the most important ones. Standardization of reference resources (draft) The section describes the current standards used for reference resources and how they may be implemented. It also inventories the most important authority lists, thesauri and gazetteers used in the humanities. It is conceived as a practical ‘guide to good practice’, and as such it includes examples, practical cases and answers to potential user’s questions. The section is based on the outcomes of Task 4.3. Standardized protocols and procedures (draft) The report describes protocols and procedures for cross- discipline reliability of data generated by experiments and field or laboratory activity on material sources. It is conceived as a practical ‘guide to good practice’, and as such it includes examples, practical cases and answers to potential user’s questions. The section is based on the outcomes of Task 4.4.

Report on the design of the Joint Resource Registry

The deliverable documents the DESIGN of the Joint Resource Registry. It includes examples and application scenarios. It is produced by CNR (Task 5.4 Leader).

Report on academic curricula

The deliverable reports about the current situation of higher education curricula in the sector and describes the curricula developed in Task 7.3. It is produced by TCD (Task 7.4 Leader).

It also reports about frameworks for Open Access. It is conceived as a ‘guide to good practice’, and as such it includes examples, practical cases and answers to user’s questions. The section is based on the outcomes of Task 3.3.

Standardization Survival Kit (draft)

The deliverable describes the Standardization Survival Kit and how to use it. It is conceived as a practical ‘guide to good practice’; as such it includes examples, practical cases and answers to potential user’s questions. The report relies on the outcomes of Task 4.1, and is produced by INRIA (Task 4.1 Leader).

PARTHENOS cloud infrastructure (final)

The deliverable is a report illustrating the final PARTHENOS infrastructure, supporting the deployment of all services developed by this WP. It is produced by CNR, WP Leader.

Foresight study and interdisciplinary research agenda

The report analyses current trends and outlines possible progress in the interdisciplinary sector addressed by the project. It provides insight into opportunities for and threats to innovation, as well as forecast developments concerning careers, research topics and funding opportunities. It consists of a detailed report, including a self-consistent summary detachable part available for separate use, e.g. as political brief. It is produced by KCL (Task 3.4 Leader).

Initial communication plan

The plan concerns the first year of activity and matches the project communication goals with the available opportunities, which cannot be assessed at proposal stage. It also outlines the activity for the second year according to the information available at the time of delivery. Finally it includes the initial outreach plan as well as the initial plans for scientific communication. It is produced by KNAW (WP 8 Leader).
