Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

The issue is about determining SMEs having the potentials of growth and innovation, and later on enhancing their innovation capacities and growth, and follow up their progress.
This project is important for the society since it will help the SMEs having potential of growth and innovation get one step further to achieve successes in the business environment.
The overall objectives are
• to help SMEs to unlock their potential by better managing the innovation process by “Enhancing the innovation management capacities of SMEs” which will be performed with a diagnostic innovation management capacity audit followed by an action plan which is a mixed typed of different support activities. By our consortium, it was planned to deliver 12 packages of “enhancing the innovation management capacities of SMEs” services to SMEs in the 2 year time period.
• to help companies which pass the evaluation procedure for innovation projects supported by the SME Instrument on commercializing their ideas and thus providing support for turning innovative ideas/research to commercial successes by “Key Account Management Services”, which focus solely on the beneficiaries of the SME Instrument. That will be performed with a coaching programme on the basis of project realization and leveraging partnerships to acquire know-how and funding. By our consortium, it was planned to deliver 2 “Key Account Management Services” in the 2 year time period.

Work performed from the beginning of the project to the end of the period covered by the report and main results achieved so far

Even if the Work Packages could not be carried out and the objectives could not be achieved by our Consortia, several briefing activities were done in order to reach the correct target and various surveys were given to the SMEs for the determination of the target SMEs and creation of a database covering the SMEs having innovation capacities and potentials.
