This action served to provide the innovation support services addressing in general Croatian SMEs with significant innovation activities and in particular the beneficiaries of the SME instrument. Consortium has successfully implemented the new innovation services that EEN will deliver under the remit of H2020 specifically Key Account Management (KAM) of successful SME Instrument applicants to identify bottlenecks to creation of economic impact in companies benefiting from grants by Horizon 2020, and Enhancing client SME’s capacity to manage innovation processes increasing their efficiency and effectiveness. In the scope of EEN partners have organised number of info-days and workshops to further promote SME Instrument which has resulted in great interest and number of advising provided to clients further resulting in the greater number of SME's applying for SME Instrument with each cut-off date. This will provide good basis for the upcoming period for implementation of services.
Action met the call objectives, in particular establishing and performing the services enhancing the innovation management capacities of SMEs with a particularly high EU-wide market and innovation potential. Companies were approached, services promoted and consortium has been partially trained in provision of services. This result can be considered a success as it was intention of the call to offer a pilot opportunity to prepare for the main call for the upcoming period. Consortium has exchanged know-how and is now ready to provide services in the upcoming period.
We are expecting more SME Instruments applicant and greater innovation capacity in the advised companies which should also lead for some of them to the SME Instrument application.
