Knowledge transfer products

Results and conclusions based on the analysis of demographic, phenotypic, genetic and genomic data. Results feed to WP1 Task 4, WP5 in order to develop strategies for genetic monitoring and policy decisions.

A report with key points emerging from the stakeholder survey and stakeholders consultations, expressing the perspective and needs of the target final users of the project’s results.

Incorporating FGR into innovative forest management and policy throughout Europe

A synthesis report describing implementation and uptake of FGR conservation and monitoring, adapted to the regional forest management context and tradition, expected climate change impacts, and targeting practice needs.

Report on GenTree International Conference

A report on a final international conference organized to disseminate GenTree’s results to the scientific community and a large array of forestry stakeholders (plenary and side events).

Gaps in the European Conservation network

Gaps in the conservation network identified according to the identified refugia. Results feed into WP5.

Report on policy instruments and measures

Using the policy database as a basis, all instruments and measures are reviewed that may influence the uptake of conservation strategies, including a gap analysis, at different levels of interaction, from national to the international level.

A list of a set of genes to be sequenced across the seven species

The list will be made of genes belonging to networks and pathways involved in forest tree adaptation e.g. phenology, drought stress.

GenTree dissemination and knowledge transfer plan

A strategic document highlighting the steps implemented and tools developed in order to support the dissemination of the projects’ results and knowledge transfer activities.

Leaf samples from pairs of populations in contrasted environments in ten countries

In total 3500 samples (7 species * 20 populations (10 population-pairs) * 25 individuals).

GenTree project website

A website actively maintained to promote and disseminate the project’s results and activities.
