Objectif Heat transfer from steels during solidification is a basic parameter which depends on the relevant "crystal generator". The aim will be to study the conditions of the heat exchange in liquid steels during solidification and when solidified in a "crystal generator" made up of plain surfaces (moulds) or curved surfaces (rollers) in a stationary state. The aim is to develop the basic elements which will enable a "crystal generator" to be designed with the desired dimensions, thickness and width, and representing a structure suitable for future use.
