Objective

In the light of current developments in the field of continuous casting of thin slabs, this research is mainly concerned with quality improvement. The aim of this project is to establish optimal conditions for the continuous casting of thin stainless or silicon steel slabs, for which the surface and internal quality characteristics comply with end-user requirements.
