Objective
To develop methods of preparing and treating fine grained steel slags. The formulations will be resistant to liquid waste percolation and at the same time be capable of neutralising or filtering out hazardous compounds from liquids that do penetrate the lining, thus reducing the risk of environmental problems from landfill disposal of hazardous wastes.
