Objective

Considerable ECSC research has been carried out into continuous monitoring of surface pollution of steel sheet. This research project is aimed at investigating systems capable of maintaining desired chemical, electrochemical and physical conditions of pre-treatment baths in electrogalvanizing plants. Lower surface pollution levels should be achieved leading to improved product quality, which is of particular importance to the automotive industry.
