Objective
The aim of this research is fundamental investigations into the corrosion and delamination of polymer- and zinc-coated steel by means of a unique and novel technique, which allows the measurement of corrosion potentials beneath isolating polymer films. This technique is combined here with the measurement of the distribution of galvanic currents below the polymer. The measurements will be made for a series of wet/dry cycles with different CO2 and SO2 partial pressures.
