Objective
The research aims at investigating the design of thin floor beams and large span floors with particular reference to conventional frameworks and structural connections. It is intended to improve the constructional aspects of these structures and to evaluate their behaviour under load and in fire situations, especially where the floor braces the surrounding steelwork.
