Chemical characterisation of washing waste heaps by means of geochemicaI, mineraIogic and petroIogic studies. AppIying analysis methods In principal and geostatic components

Objective

Determine accurate methods of analysing the composition of washery wastes on a chemical point of view in order to spot with a maximum of efficiency their recycling while avoiding any troublesome environmental incidence. Application of these analysis methods to coal feed stock going in the coal preparation plant in order to study the raw material changes during its history.

- conditioning and preparing samples for different types of treatment

- realising different analysis maceral analysis of organic matter and determination of its degree of oxidation
mineralogic analysis by X ray diffraction
analysis of the major components (Si, TI, AI, Fe, Mg, Mn. Ca, K, Na, P)
analysis of the various forms of sulphur
analysis of the elements only found by trace (Cr. Ni, V, Co. Cd, Pb, As, CI, Hg)

- interpretation of results and geostatistical study.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
