Objective
Aims of the research:
The purpose is to adapt equipment and mechanize certain operations in order to improve the working conditions and safety of face-end workers and to achieve better technical results from longwall faces worked by shearer.
Focus of the research:
The research is geared to four aspects of the work:
dealing with 'lumps fast' stoppages,
support at the bottom end of the face,
dealing with sliding lumps,
work at the top end of the face.
