The best chosen model of rotational barrel segment will be made by SME.

Special screw in metal

The best chosen model of special screw will be made by SME.

New extruder prototype (pilot)

The chosen active grooved feed section, rotational barrel segment, special screw, automation and control system as well as auxiliary elements will be used to make a new, prototype extruder.

Physical models (3D print.) of extruder elements

A physical model of the plasticizing system will be made and will consist of the best chosen IAGFS, ORBS and SS.

Active grooved feed section in metal

The best chosen model of active grooved feed section will be made by SME.

Automation and control system

Automation and control system will be chosen in such a way as to fulfil the requirements and will constitute the equipment of the new extruder

Auxiliary elements of new extruder

Auxiliary elements of the new extruder will be adjusted: temperature and pressure sensors, heating elements, motor, hopper, elements of the barrel, extruder head etc.

Comparative research results

A detailed comparative analysis of the results received at the standard extruder and at the new extruder as well as the process and product advantages of the latter one will be determined
