Deliverables

The first preliminary version of the dissemination and communication stratedy will be ready in month 4 in time for the kick-off meeting. The strategy will be updated during project duration, with second version due in month 18 and the final version in month 36. This preliminary plan will be further worked in order to ensure a sound dissemination strategy well linked to the other WPs and will be finalized by the end of M3. The D&C strategy will include the visual identity (logo), the- content and outline of the offline materials to be produced (leaflets, postcards, roll-ups, posters), the target audience definition, the specifications of a web platform to be used for the storage of the training and communication material (own ‘Prospect’ website or training platform such as Moodle/Climate KIC).

Presentations at EU + national level will include at least 25 presentations at EU level and 36 presentations at regional/national level.

The assessment and a system of feedback loops will be a regular feature of the learning program. This will allow the partners to test and validate the quality, relevance and effects of the learning program regularly. Guidance notes for trainers on the peer to peer learning tools for each module

In T3.4 the roles of trainers will be defined, starting from the needs assessment and categorization of interests (WP2), where the matching process of what can be offered as training and what is required will provide the guidance for task 3.4. and will provide guidance for trainers.

Inventory of sustainable energy measures and strategies from trainees that are planned to be implemented after the chosen training verification

This is one of the elements that will ensure replicability of the learning program; Networks and universities will continue the promotion of the learning program beyond the duration of the project by making available learning materials, guidance for peer learning tools, and this inventory of trainers as well as inventory of sustainable energy measures.

Monitoring guidelines for the success of the learning programs

The leader is IEECP, but will be assisted by UPRC. IHS is responsible for the launching of the peer to peer learning itself and for the tendering process for the selection of additional trainers. The launching, guidance and certification will be also facilitated by the SB. ESV and S.ENERGIA will act as trainers for the Modules selected (public buildings, private buildings and public lighting) for the three years. The City of Trnava and S. Energia will also act as verifiers to the peer selection process and will assist via their feedbacks in the measurement of success of the peer to peer learning initiatives.

Key lessons from the final conference

The report will follow the final conference and include all project partners and main beneficiaries main findings and lessons learned.

Sustainability plan for the peer to peer learning program

The aim of this task is to ensure the viability of the learning program after the project’s end through a detailed and realistic sustainability plan, which will define a coherent strategy and an effective action plan for the further exploitation of the project’s main outcomes and for keeping alive the communication channels between the city-network members.  The sustainability plan will determine on how to keep clear and compelling the vision of the city-network, key impacts to be sustained, actions and milestones, main responsibilities, driving forces, motivation of supporters, take-up by the community, indicators to track progress.

Report on selection process from ongoing needs assessments

In order to build on past expertise and pre-analysis, T2.1 will make use of the existing platforms and needs assessment surveys developed by the networks or EU-funded projects and initiatives (for instance the Covenant of Mayors), in which local and regional stakeholders express the needs and barriers they face in financing their sustainable energy projects and the solutions and expertise they can provide. These will then be translated and streamlined into concrete objectives of the learning process and serve to start a matching process between the trainees who are looking for expertise in the fields covered by PROSPECT.

Once the trainers are instructed on the process of peer to peer learning from the SB, the trainees in each module will be presented with a charter agreement, which will define clearly the learning objectives and what is expected from them during the courses. This informal agreement will provide the guidance to the entire process and will be generated for each individual trainee and ensure serious intentions of authorities to be an active stakeholder in the project. The first summary of this process will be delivered in month 6, second month 12 and the last in month 24.

PROSPECT learning platform

No matter which web presence will be chosen, the platform will host: -Recording of the webinars. Slides and reports on training sessions -Best practices datasheets from trainers (already documented) -Interactive map for all trainees and trainers to locate the good examples -Online interaction opportunities between trainees and trainers (for instance a community forum for the trainees, peer-to-peer feedback tool, and others)
