Deliverables

Sensitivity study of the models: identification of key input parameters and their impact on the predictions

This deliverable will be a report with the minutes of the meetings held target output data to study and physical range of variation of the input data details on calculation implementation and results of the probabilistic studies ie accuracy of the model predictions as a function of the uncertainty of the input data

Measurement protocols

State of the art, Round Robin test of micro and macroscale systematic measurements, definition of a common protocol for most regular measures including SEM examination possibilities, complex permittivity and hardness / indentation possibilities.

End-user first workshop

The enduser first workshop will kickstart the enduser assessment of the first version of the TeaM Cables tool

Kinetics modelling of formulated polymer ageing in nuclear environment (materials with fillers)

This deliverable will report the chemical reactions of the mechanistic scheme of antioxidant depletion the kinetics constants associated the changes to include in the kinetics modelling of polymer ageing when fillers are added new chemical reactions or changes in parameters as oxygen diffusion for example the final resulting system of differential equations for the polymers of the project comparisons of experimental data with results coming from the simulations of polymer ageing

Training workshops for NPP operators and researchers on the TeaM Cables tool and NDT protocols

Handson training workshops one for NPPs and one for researchers on the TeaM Cables tool and NDT protocols

Kinetics modelling of formulated polymer ageing in nuclear environment

This deliverable will report: the chemical reactions of the mechanistic scheme of antioxidant depletion, the kinetics constants associated, the changes to include in the kinetics modelling of polymer ageing when fillers are added (new chemical reactions or changes in parameters as oxygen diffusion, for example), the final resulting system of differential equations for the two polymer families of the project, comparisons of experimental data with results coming from the simulations of polymer ageing.

Multi-scale models or relations for unaged polymers

Based on bibliographic studies, discussion with partners of WP5 in charge of the development of NDT, and on measurements carried out on new polymers in WP3, this deliverable will report the definition of the mechanical behaviour law chosen to model mechanical properties of pure and filled polymers in the unaged state, the relation of the polymer structure with data coming from terahertz and microwave measurements, the relation of the polymer structure with data coming from dielectric measurements, the validation of these models and relations by comparison with experimental data obtained in WP3.

Cable ageing progress report n°1, normal operation and accident mode simulation

Description of the achievements, real ageing parameters, described uncertainties.

Specifications of tests - accelerated ageing protocol, test strategy

Detailed protocol how the samples will be prepared for ageing, ageing execution, explain ageing parameters, first version of test matrix for sample sending, properties testing during ageing (e.g. reflectometry).

Multi-scale modelling of polymer ageing

This deliverable will report the modifications needed on the different multiscale laws or models to take into account polymer ageing That could be changes in the formalism of the models identified in D43 or laws for the evolution of the parameters Models implemented will then be validated by comparisons of experimental tensile tests with results coming from the modelling of aged polymers

TeaM Cables symposium

A report from the final symposium where all the project results will be disseminated to various target audiences

Ageing characterisation final report

Includes all results micro and macroscale and the final trends of statistical analysis for accelerated ageing

First revision of specifications

Reports describing specification of the software (Revision A).

First Field testing

Report on software testing errors experiences feedback and questionnaire completed by the enduser group

Database available for upload

Set-up of database, enabling the upload of characterisations.

EPRS and Electrical technics report

EPRS description and measurements, with influence of temperature and dose rate. Electrical measurements description, tests results complementarity and trends / correlations for all electrical measurements on aged samples: Teraherz technique (wide range), complex permittivity (precise frequency), S-Matrix.

Revision of the specification for VP as a result of input from WP4

Revision B of the software specification incorporating changes based on WP4 and second version of the software tool

End-user second workshop

The enduser second workshop will kickstart the enduser assessment of the final version of the TeaM Cables tool

Summer school

The summer school programme abstract booklet and links to support material

Specifications of accident conditions – test protocol

Detailed description of how the accident simulations will be performed, describe why, on which samples. Chapter on functionality testing during accident simulation will be included.

Includes all results micro and macroscale and the final trends of statistical analysis for accidental conditions tested samples

Suitable techniques for onsite NDT inspections based on research conducted in tasks 15 are further developed This will include suitable equipment procedure and acceptance criteria development The final report will also contain a comparison between different NDT techniques on their sensitivity to detect ageing

Software improvements

Revision of the specification prepared during step T61 and T62 Revision B and C will be prepared report of detailed mathematical algorithm description and revision of the report on software structure if needed

Implementation of the software

Report describing the software structure in more detail (e.g. displayed graphically) and a preliminary version of the software tool, based on Revision A of specifications.
