European Tools and Methodologies for an efficient ageing management of nuclear power plant Cables

Deliverables

Measurement protocols

State of the art, Round Robin test of micro and macroscale systematic measurements, definition of a common protocol for most regular measures including SEM examination possibilities, complex permittivity and hardness / indentation possibilities.

Multi-scale models or relations for unaged polymers

Based on bibliographic studies, discussion with partners of WP5 in charge of the development of NDT, and on measurements carried out on new polymers in WP3, this deliverable will report the definition of the mechanical behaviour law chosen to model mechanical properties of pure and filled polymers in the unaged state, the relation of the polymer structure with data coming from terahertz and microwave measurements, the relation of the polymer structure with data coming from dielectric measurements, the validation of these models and relations by comparison with experimental data obtained in WP3.

Cable ageing progress report n°1, normal operation and accident mode simulation

Description of the achievements, real ageing parameters, described uncertainties.

Specifications of tests - accelerated ageing protocol, test strategy

Detailed protocol how the samples will be prepared for ageing, ageing execution, explain ageing parameters, first version of test matrix for sample sending, properties testing during ageing (e.g. reflectometry).

First revision of specifications

Reports describing specification of the software (Revision A).

Database available for upload

Set-up of database, enabling the upload of characterisations.

Specifications of accident conditions – test protocol

Detailed description of how the accident simulations will be performed, describe why, on which samples. Chapter on functionality testing during accident simulation will be included.

Project flyer and PPT

Flyer presenting the TeaM Cables objectives, main activities, expected results and partners.

Project public website

The TeaM Cables public website will provide information about the project, publications, news and events.

Implementation of the software

Report describing the software structure in more detail (e.g. displayed graphically) and a preliminary version of the software tool, based on Revision A of specifications.
