Simulation and evaluation tools for integration of genomic information into breeding schemes

Provide simulation tools for the assessment of different breeding strategies involving genomic evaluation, and state-of-the-art statistical packages for performing genomic evaluation.

Multispecies SNP array as a common genotyping tool for breeding

Commercially/openly available multispecific genotyping tool based on existing arrays and existing and de novo sequencing resources, with the validation of a first round of typing for the project’s case studies, as an opportunity to bring investment savings to breeding programs and pan-European collaboration.

Simulation tool to combine silviculture and genetic composition of FRM scenarios and test innovative uses of improved FRM

This simulation tool will account for genetic characteristics of FRM to identify adapted silvicultural options that combine high short-term performance and high long-term adaptive potential to face future uncertainties.

Multi-trait and multi-criteria performance modelling platform for FRM

An open modelling platform hosting available models and submodels with guidelines for their adaptation to new performance datasets.
