Automatic SaaS Governing of Hybrid Networks for Growing Infrastructure Demands

Periodic Reporting for period 1 - ASGARD (Automatic SaaS Governing of Hybrid Networks for Growing Infrastructure Demands)

Reporting period: 2017-05-01 to 2017-08-31

ASGARD’s integrated SaaS solution for local and hybrid cloud networks goes beyond basic IPAM to integrate DNS and DHCP management for multiple locations in a single pane-of-class, bringing world-class capabilities to SMEs and mid-market firms. Network monitoring automation will save customers technical staff’s valuable time to focus on less urgent but more relevant analysis. It enhances protection against network downtime, potentially lethal for a small firm. Its costs below €1,000/year for a moderately sized network, an affordable option
The Technical Feasibility team obtained requirements from customers and partners on ease-of-deployment, ease-of-use, SaaS delivery, IPAM features, security/privacy challenges, and automation, for which baseline KPIs were identified. A pilot protocol was defined. Commercial Feasibility was assessed by a market study, including commercial objectives and sales strategy. A major finding is to focus on channel distribution instead of a reactive marketplace direct sales approach. Potential partners were identified in promising geographies, Germany, UK, France, Italy, and Spain, and the US and selected Asian countries. Review of Intellectual Property concerns and commercial risk assessment were also executed. Financial Feasibility was assessed projecting revenues, cost, margin and ROI for the first 5 years. Overall budget and refined sizing were calculated for each Phase 2 work package, reducing the total investment amount from initial estimations. Men & Mice’s financial status was revised, and financial risks and mitigating actions were identified.
Because of cloud appeal, IoT opportunities and IPv6 requirements, SMEs and mid-market firms will need a yet non-existent integrated solution to avoid network disasters impeding their digital transformation. ASGARD fills this void providing hassle free protection from DNS outages, codified world-class expertise to solve incidents, zero effort for installation and updating and minimal configuration. Machine learning automation, unique to ASGARD, is the key enabling technology.
