D11 will compare the limiting contribution of peripheral factors for outcomes ESRs 12 the contribution of crossmodal plasticity with respect to bottomup mechanisms ESRs 34 and their individual variation Using an animal model will not only allow pinpointing the mechanistic explanation at the cellular level but also provide information by comparison with the human data on the contribution of language to the crossmodal reorganisations Each task group delivers a report and all task group members and WP coordinator will summarise these in a synthetic WP1 report M24 M42 Each ESR will gain a global WP1 perspective
