Periodic Reporting for period 1 - QUBE (Quantum technology with carbon nanotUBEs)

The QUBE project is intended to provide a high Technologically Readiness Level platform for quantum computing applications. The concept is to use carbon nanotubes, tiny cylindrical conductors, in order to encode quantum information in the electronic spin in an ultra-pure environment. For that purspose, an isotopically purified growth of carbon nanotubes has been developped and successfully implemented. The nanotubes could be incorporated in a circuit quantum electrodynamics architecture which offers a highly scalable platform for quantum computing in principle.
