Deliverables Documents, reports (15) Lessons and recommendations on pan-European level regulation, policies and strategies This deliverable contains a summary of regulatory recommendations based on the main outcomes of the project and develops a roadmap for replication of the network planning tool It will distill all lessons learned in the project in a document addressing themes and topics which could be useful for the European reulators Guideline for the compliance of network planning tool with EU overall strategies and regulatory conditions This deliverable includes an analysis of the interaction between the current network planning practices and regulations. It also contains a screening of EU regulation in support to the new planning tool. Grid development results of the regional studies This document will contain result of the lab tests of the new tool for 6 regions presenting transmission grid architectures impact of flexibility elements located both at transmission and distribution levels and environmental impact assessment based on the indices developed in T51 Pan-European simulation results This document will contain the results of the pan European simulations. These simulations will set border conditions for ther regional cases. Pan-European scenario data This document will document pan European scenario data as input for the simulations in WP 4. Final project exploitation plan Final project exploitation plan Identified regulatory limitations and opportunities based on the regional cases The deliverable analyses and documents the results from the regional case studies It also projects their possible implication for the realization of the panEuropean level flexibility resourcesharing based planning Monte Carlo scenario generation and reduction This document contains a detailed description of the developed scenario generation and reduction techniques and recommendations on inclusion of the uncertainty in a generic way in the planning problem. This is very useful in order to curb computational complexity while retaining maximum significance of the scenarios. Planning tool user documentation This deliverable consists of a comprehensive manual users manual and software documentation of the tool to be used for the regional cases within WP5 Impact assessment of the results of the FlexPlan project Impact assessment of the results of the FlexPlan project Probabilistic optimization of T&D systems planning with high grid flexibility and its scalability This document compiles the results of tasks 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.5. It contains a detailed description objective function of the transmission system planning and an evaluation of probabilistic security criteria and recommendations for the implementation of these criteria, a complete description of the transmission and simplified distribution network models with highly flexible elements, and description of the dynamic optimization of transmission systems planning with high grid flexibility and uncertainty. Additionally, first findings on the scalability of the developed methodology are explained in detail. Flexibility elements identification and characterization This deliverables contains the specification and characteristics of all the elements identified with capability to provide flexibility services. It contains the theoretical background of the pre-processor which is created Three Scientific Papers Three Scientific Papers Data sets and planning criteria for the regional studies This document will contain description of data sets prepared as input for new tool with description of applied assumptions and localization procedures Also applied planning and optimization criteria will be presented as well as environmental impact indices Definition and characterization of services to be provided by flexibility elements This report will contain a definition, specification and role to be played by flexibility elements in the transport grid. It lays the theoretical methodology used later for creating the pre-processor tool.
