Periodic Reporting for period 1 - LEKAEH (A novel, cost-, time- and energy-efficient, electric hammer to replace the traditional hydraulic hammer)
Reporting period: 2019-06-01 to 2019-11-30
We also continued the technical development of the actual technology and continued the work towards closer defining the product requirements of the entry segment that has been chosen.
Furthermore, we have evolved the business plan of Lekatech and worked on the financing for the next development step.
Objectives – It was in the core of our working to get both the commercial and technical confirmation of the feasibility of the concept. The commercial feasibility was to be measured by the interest of significant customers to co-operate in the further development and commercialization of the concept. The technical feasibility was measured by reaching the set targets for the performance of the concept.
Importance to the Society – Electric transformation of off-road machines reduces the local contaminating effect of diesel engines. The favourable development is held back by the connecting work machines. Lekatech technology enables and accelerates the use of electric machines by providing clear performance benefits and cost savings through drastically reduced energy consumption compared to existing hydraulic technologies.
The reached results are shadowed slightly by the delay in schedule due to poor performance of some technology partners. However, the difficulties are repairable by nature and help us in the planning forward.
The conclusion of the project is that we will continue strong proceeding it and will build the next stages to co-operations with selected partners.
