Description du projet DEENESFRITPL Un logiciel multifonctionnel pour la collecte et le suivi des données sur l’hydroélectricité Le potentiel de l’hydroélectricité, la plus grande source d’énergie renouvelable au monde, reste largement inexploité. L’évaluation des coûts d’exploitation et de l’impact écologique des nouvelles opportunités requiert des informations précises sur un certain nombre de variables environnementales clés. Le projet HYPOS, financé par l’UE, va répondre à ce besoin en développant une série d’applications d’analyse de données intégrant des technologies d’observation de la Terre et des modélisations destinées au secteur hydroélectrique. Parmi ces applications figurent notamment un outil en ligne d’aide à la décision pour la planification et le suivi des investissements, ainsi qu’un portail accessible sur abonnement combinant des données satellitaires temporelles, des mesures actuelles et des estimations détaillées pour les évaluations d’aujourd’hui et de demain. Le projet apportera une valeur ajoutée au niveau international grâce à des informations fiables sur un large éventail de plans d’eau et une vaste gamme d’échelles spatiales. Une analyse sophistiquée de l’empreinte environnementale au niveau hydrique sera employée pour offrir des solutions de surveillance durables. The subscription portal brings together high-quality satellite based measurements for historic time periods, actual current monitoring, up-to-date modelled hydrological parameters, with nowcasting on various orderable levels of detail and available in-situ data for integrated baseline and environmental impact assessments.The service significantly contributes on a trans-national as well as a global scale, with the requirement of independent, standardized and consistent information over a wide range of different water bodies and spatial scales. Substantial Blue Footprint analysis are enabled based on sophisticated and state-of-the-art algorithms and methodology featuring sustainable long-term monitoring solutions.
