Full Stack Digital Plant Scan and Work

Periodic Reporting for period 1 - SCAN and WORK (Full Stack Digital Plant Scan and Work)

Reporting period: 2019-09-01 to 2020-02-29

Industrial production management consistently fails due to using archaic tools with no capability for production optimization. That means that any change to the production process must be done on a trial and error basis which is erroneous and time consuming. As it is commercially impossible to make all test physically, it is not possible to predict all quality problems, which cause production downtime to fix them and after-market costs due to product recalls.
Our solution is the first cloud platform where users can make 3D digital twins of manufacturing facilities coupled with 3D design and browser virtual product simulation. The added value to customers is cloud access to 3D scans with multiple key virtual optimization packages, no full ownership costs, no need for own hardware with pay as you need pricing.
Customers: all manufacturing/construction value chain players involved in product design: OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), their Tier 1 and 2 suppliers, down to all small companies and individual designers/workers.
Strategy: offer services online, accessible worldwide with transparent pricing. The prototype is TRL 7 validated by large OEMs like Mercedes and Volkswagen.
Our team has manufacturing and automotive industries insiders; founders have more than 15 years of experience in automotive and aerospace engineering.
Manufacturing digital global market was 6.26 B$ in 2017 and is estimated to reach 13.45 B$ by 2022. We expect accumulated sales of 45.5 M€ until 2023.
This project allows us to make a market/industrial research, analysis of IPR, freedom to operate and regulatory issues, business model review/update, and business coaching to understand new possibilities in other industrial sectors besides automotive.
The main results so far are definition of the go-to-market plan, including the priority segments, industries and countries; definition of our IPR strategy for the next years; identification of legal/security requirements; surveys / interviews conducted with key industrial players; business model reviewed, including definition of the revenue sources (pricing strategy) and estimations of costs and operational cash-flows (5-years); technology strategy and product roadmap updated.
We are the first 3D digital twin technology in the market specifically focused on production management. The current health crisis caused severe market volatility, increased with extra safety measures. Our technology can help to address all these challenges at the same time it delivers industrial efficiencies required by the new European Green Deal.
