Project description
Business innovation in Norway
Barriers to innovation result in hindering new and fresh ideas from reaching the market. The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) aims to reduce those barriers and support new ideas. To this end, the EU-funded NOREIC project will deliver two different types of services to Norwegian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that will support their innovation and growth in the period 2020-2021. It will deliver key account management (KAM) services to beneficiaries of the EIC Pilot and services for enhancing innovation management capacity (EIMC) to those companies that have high growth potential. The services will be provided by the Business Cooperation Centre (BCC) in Norway, which is a partner of the EEN.
Objective
The specific objectives of the NOREIC project is to enhance the innovation management capacity of Norwegian SMEs in 2020 and 2021 by reducing barriers to innovation and to ensure that more great ideas will reach the market. The two distinct types of services under this consultation, a) Key Account Management under the EIC pilot and its successor b) Services to enhance the innovation management capacity of SMEs will in 2020 and 2021 be offered as an integrated part of the general support services of the Enterprise Europe Network Business Cooperation Centre (BCC) in Norway. The services will not be delivered to the same client(s) in parallel.
