LCA and LCC of ethylene production from different PEC configurations, and at different TRL (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)Application of LCA this to analyze the whole life cycle of different configurations of ethylene production by PC and PEC and to understand and evaluate the various environmental impacts of the production processes. Similarly to LCA, specific guidelines for LCC will be proposed by IFPEN again. LCC is a methodology framework that generally aim to examine technological feasibility and economic profitability of a process, product or service, by combining results from classical Techno-Economic Assessment (TEA) with the monetarization of environmental impacts / flows.
Report on the understanding of the physiochemical properties of the as-prepared materials (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)After elaboration of most performing composites for CO2 reduction reaction pysicochemical evidences are necessary to explain their optimal behavior and disseminate these materials beyond the stateoftheart in top Q1 articles
Report on the identification of the optimal synthetic methods, combination ans proportions of materials (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)After screening several synthetic methods proportions of best of both SCs and M NPs selection will be made The goal is to find the best compromise in term of intimate interfacial contact between the different components for rationally design the multiphase materials
Report on system performance under simulated sunlight irradiation and optimisation roadmap (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)A final report summarising the solar to fuels performance of all systems studied throughout the project will be issued. The main correlations between components and assemblies towards performance and stability will be identify. These conclusions will allow us to define strengths, weaknesses and a roadmap for future development.
Report on social acceptance study and impacts on energy security (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)The aim of D7.3 is to present an overview of the anticipated social opposition, which will include a guideline on how planning and usage actions related to this technology can increase the likelihood of social acceptance. In order to do so, surveys and qualitative interviews will be carried out with relevant stakeholder groups. The analysis of the collected data will be conducted through known frameworks for other renewable energy technologies, why the only critical element is the selection of respondents and the validation of the collected data. D.7.3 will moreover focus on the impact on energy security for energy consumers after implementation of the technology. The analysis of this part will depend on the information gathered on the expected efficiency, as the entire project is aiming at a contribution to a stable energy supply. The technology will therefore be assessed in terms of availability and efficiency, and further analyzed follow standard principles of energy security.
Roadmap for upscaling towards TW scale (s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)A detailed plan for upscaling the system will be reported. The remaining challenges and the milestones over the relevant time period will be discussed in detail.
Website with specific sections that will all be available in English. A written report with the main contents from the website will be produced.
