U-space Separation in Europe

Deliverables

Report on design concepts implementation

The system requirements derived for the selected design concepts will be taken into account and will be implemented in order to conduct the simulations The use cases elaborated will be given form for the simulations and the microweather services in the form of turbulent wind shear will be implemented for those environments where a high spatial resolution is available

Communication and Dissemination activities report

It will be elaborated Scientific papers presentations in conferences and publications in specialised journal as well as communication activities such as social media

USEPE Concept of operations outline

Based on the stakeholder requirements a concept of operations outline will be elaborated and for this concept the potential design concepts will be identified and evaluated in order to select the most appropriate to be implemented In addition a number of use cases considering the stakeholder inputs will be elaborated

Exploratory Research Validation Report

The results of the simulations will be analysed taking into account the performance areas indicators and metrics identified in the validation plan

Report on machine learning algorithms

Suitable algorithms to implement the separation management system for the selected design concepts will be developed considering various approaches including machine learning The suitability and efficiency of the developed algorithms will be evaluated through extensive simulations based on the design concepts once enough data are available

Final report

The Final Report will cover all the research activities performed by the project including the final publishable summary report the plan for use and dissemination of the foreground and a selfassessment of the TRL achieved at the end of the project The final Report will also include the results of the final workshopThis report will follow the template provided by the SJU and the guidelines provided in the SESAR Project Handbook

USEPE Initial concept of operation second version

Based on inputs from presentations in conferences the concept of operations outline will be consolidated in the form of an initial concept of operations which could enable USEPE to go through AOIR gate

USEPE Initial concept of operations first version

Based on simulation and validation results the concept of operations outline will be consolidated in the form of an initial concept of operations which could enable USEPE to go through AOIR gate

Validation Plan

A validation plan following EOCVM guidelines will be created to determine how the simulations will be run and what analysis will be performed with the results A baseline and operational scenario will be defined

Data Management Plan

Document specifying which research data will be open and how they will be managed regarding research data quality sharing and security
