Objective
To promote and increase the uptake of EC hydrocarbon technologies, which have the potential to solve current and future exploration, extraction and production challenges facing the oil industry. To identify and promote previously unknown technologies which are being developed by SMEs to meet the oil industry's current and future challenges. SMEs are responsible for much of the innovative technology in the hydrocarbons industry. To promote the 5th Framework Programme and its role in the EU energy strategy to industry, and government policy makers.
