Objective
OBJECTIVES
The objective of the project is to bring together job counsellors and trainers in order to better reconcile job offers and training opportunities. The partners will give priority to developing a methodology and tools with a view to optimising public employment services and training support systems.
ACTIVITIES
In the first instance, a research group composed of - for each member country: an employment agency and a training organisation - will draw up a schedule of current job training systems in the different participating countries. The partners will then adapt each of these systems by paying particular attention to those people who are excluded from the job market, or who are threatened with exclusion. To do this, a methodology and tools for the provisional management of employment and for the anticipation of qualifications will be created. Furthermore, innovative training programmes which are better adapted to the European context, to redeployment problems linked to industrial change, and to new ways of work organisation, will be developed. Ways of developing new kinds of jobs/job profiles, and their corresponding training requirements, will also be explored. These systems will be tested in each country through joint efforts between training organisations and employment institutions.
