Objective
OBJECTIVES
In order to respond to the requirements of show business professionals, this project aims to create specific training modules for the clothing professions in the world of show business (costume specialists, dressers), by arranging an exchange of training and professional practices between training institutions and professionals. By giving training practices a deeper dimension and achieving a better understanding of the capabilities and skills which the profession demands, it will be possible to create new jobs.
ACTIVITIES
Placements in a professional environment are initially envisaged, during which the students and trainers will make costumes and masks and will become acquainted with the techniques and practices specific to the world of show business. The professionals and trainers will then identify the core skills which need to be acquired and training requirements, and will then devise training modules (individualised training with tutor support) on the basis of these materials and experiences. These modules will also promote language-learning. A European reference system listing techniques for the design and production of stage costumes and masks will finally be produced.
