Objective
OBJECTIVES
The pressure to diversify currently being exerted on the rural economy is having an impact on the employment of women who have traditionally worked in family agricultural businesses. The current trend is to find and develop new paid jobs for the rural communities with the aim of ensuring their survival in a world in the process of change. The solution is essentially to be found in the creation of small, local businesses. This is why the project proposes to help women set up and manage SMEs in a rural environment. To this end, the partners will develop a training system adapted, on the one hand, to women's inability to attend intensive training courses in an institution, and on the other hand, to a more feminine business model.
ACTIVITIES
The partners will analyse the ideas and types of initiatives developed by women in a rural environment by means of a survey, and will then identify the skills necessary for carrying these ideas through to their conclusion. They will also focus on adapting training to a business acumen and work approaches that are more specific to women. The training will cover, inter alia, the following subjects: management and financial planning, marketing, negotiating techniques. The training media, tools and methods which will be devised will allow open and distance self-training.
