Objective
OBJECTIVES
This project has been set up in order to respond to the results of a survey carried out previously under another European programme. This survey revealed that environmental experts needed to be trained at a local level, particularly in the areas of town and country planning and rehabilitation of the cultural heritage. The partners involved in the project have therefore decided to create a methodology and training materials for environmental experts.
ACTIVITIES
The partners will first identify, at a local level, the training requirements emerging in the sectors of town and country planning and the rehabilitation of the cultural heritage. On the basis of the results of this research, they will devise a methodology for training environmental experts which meets these requirements. This methodology will lead to the creation of a training programme and tools suitable for its realisation. This programme will increase the qualification level of human resources in the following sectors: the management of natural resources, refuse, and the environment in compliance with the relevant European directives, the use of new technologies in environmental sectors.
PRODUCTS
The project will result in the creation of a training programme for environmental experts. A transnational document drawn up during the distribution phase will contain the complete training programme.
