Pilot project of cooperation university-enterprise: training courses

Objective

OBJECTIVES
The aim of the project is to develop ten short training modules - of a transnational nature - on the leading technologies used in areas such as engineering, the environment, quality, plastic injection, wine, etc. By means of increased co-operation between research centres, training centres and companies, the partners wish to promote the transfer of technological innovations to small enterprises which, until recently, were rarely able to take advantage of this type of transfer.

ACTIVITIES
The partners first wish to analyse the new qualification requirements emerging in different SMEs which are subject to technological change. On the basis of these requirements, it will be necessary to define the training modules which will need to be offered to allow the skills necessary for the use of the new technologies to be acquired. These modules may differ depending on the industrial sector and the basic qualification level of the trainees. The evaluation of the ten training modules created will include the evaluation of the content of the modules, the teaching methods used by the trainers and the interest shown in the modules. The partners will also determine to what extent the objectives pursued by the project (effective training for the use and transfer of new technologies to small enterprises) have been achieved.

PRODUCTS
The project will result in the creation of ten training modules enabling employees of small enterprises which are subject to technological change to acquire the skills necessary to use new technologies.
