Objective
OBJECTIVES
The clothing textiles sector is subject to constant economic change and restructuring processes. Skills requirements are therefore influenced accordingly. It is therefore important to create continuing training programmes for employees so that they can respond to the demands of the market and remain competitive. The aim of the project is to promote the SMEs in this sector by creating continuing training modules which will enable workers to adapt rapidly to the new demands of the market in terms of qualifications.
ACTIVITIES
The partners will initially analyse the training requirements emerging in this sector and compare the different training systems offered by the partner countries involved in the project. On the basis of the results of this analysis, they will produce training modules, incorporating new technologies such as multimedia tools. The training of tutors and trainers in the use of these technologies and their translation into the various languages of the partners will constitute the next step in the implementation of the project. The training contents and methods will be evaluated continually by tutors and managers appointed specially for this purpose.
PRODUCTS
The project will culminate in the creation of a multimedia training tool which can be used in open and distance training programmes, comprising two accompanying guides and a CD-ROM which will support technicians in the clothing textiles industry in upgrading their qualification level.
