Sectorial action programme in initial and vocational training for expedition and Transport Clerks

Objective

OBJECTIVES
The need for mobility which goes hand in hand with increasing prosperity is currently posing a considerable challenge for the modern transport industry, which calls for the ability to apply appropriate techniques. In addition, the shipping industry is concentrating increasingly on its fundamental activities, thus opening up new opportunities in the transport sector. In this context, the objective of the present project is to train managers in the transport sector in areas such as logistics, outsourcing and lean management, on a transnational basis.

ACTIVITIES
In a first phase of the project, the know-how which the managers are considered to have acquired will be reformulated. On this basis, training contents will be discussed and developed with the aim of creating a continuing training programme designed for managers in this sector.
