Beyond Social Dialogue

Objective

OBJECTIVES
The aim of the project is to carry on the work of the European Commission in the area of continuing training. The EU is in fact equipped with a support system for European social dialogue on the subject of continuing training. Taking as its basis an analysis carried out in four countries of the EU (Italy, Belgium, Spain, Portugal), the project will verify the expertise provided by the support system in four priority subject areas: the planning of company training, the new methods and tools used in continuing training, the procedures and tools which make it possible to allocate resources and the validation of the experience gained.

ACTIVITIES
The project partners will firstly analyse the existing systems and the experience gained in the field of continuing training, taking into account the four priority subject areas. By pooling the results of the survey, they will produce training modules in the area of continuing training, including a precise analysis in the priority areas, designed for the social partners' negotiators.

PRODUCTS
The project will culminate in the production of a manual containing the analyses carried out in the four countries on the subjects of continuing training planning at companies, the new tools and methods used in continuing training, the procedures for allocating resources, and the validation of the experience gained. Training modules for the social partners' negotiators will be created.
