Objective
OBJECTIVES
New methods of transferring information have led to changes in the techniques and strategies used in training. This development will promote the emergence of life-long learning modules, as it enables open distance training modules to be created. The role of the trainer will then be modified. The aim of the project is to establish the typical profile of these new trainers and the knowledge required to carry out this function, both with regard to the training methods used and to the technical infrastructure used in open, distance training. It will result in the creation of training modules for trainers, adapted to these new requirements.
ACTIVITIES
Initially, an inventory of the techniques currently used in distance and open training will be drawn up. The various project partners will then produce a typical profile for distance trainers, taking into account the similarities and differences between the various fields of vocational training. The profile will be developed with a view to preparing a curriculum. Finally, a training module will be produced.
