Objective
OBJECTIVES
This project is designed to help the European banking world to prepare for the single currency, future European legislation and harmonisation of accountancy and bank ratios. The partners aim to make up for the lack of teaching support with a new banking simulation game designed to help financial institutions to train qualified staff with a universal understanding of European banking activities. One of the aims will be to adopt investment strategies which help banks to avoid losing out when the EURO is introduced. Other aims will involve understanding legal implications, as well as administrative, accounting ones, etc.
ACTIVITIES
A banking simulation game will be developed on the basis of the existing one developed by the partners in this area. This banking simulation game features exercises on traditional banking activity, the move towards the single currency, harmonisation of legislation, adaptation to new competitive contexts and development of banking strategies. It will aim to develop - in its target audience - an understanding of the overall operations of a bank. This understanding is the best guarantee for the employability of staff and also facilitates the mobility of personnel within the organisation, which helps to strengthen the bank's ability to adapt and its competitiveness.
