Information society and learning companies - Transsectorial transfermodels for telematics based learning and working in SMEs

Objective

OBJECTIVES
The transition from a production society to a multimedia society entails radical changes. To ensure a better connection between the world of work and the learning process, the principle of "Just in Time" training can prove useful. The project is designed to put in place a number of different types of transnational co-operation aimed at making access to on-line services easier for SMEs. It will also seek to assist the transfer of Teleworking/Telelearning, with the aim of informing decision-makers - within SMEs - about the "Just in Time" training system. This product will enable European businesses, 90% of which are SMEs, to close the considerable gap which exists between them and Japanese and American companies.

ACTIVITIES
The project will create a network bringing together partners with relevant experience in this field. It will also be responsible for analysis, selection and integration of elements which already exist to develop a multimedia product which favours improved integration between work and the qualification process. The product will be tested and then improved according to the feedback.

PRODUCTS
- Information and analysis of work integration and learning models in the "Teleworking - Telelearning" sector.
