Objective
OBJECTIVES
Large companies find it relatively easy to take new technology on board. This is not always the case for SMEs, which do not have the same resources in terms of finances, transfer and adaptation to technological changes. In general, the introduction of new technologies also requires that employees need special training in their use. This is why the project aims to organise the transfer of new technologies emerging in the textile sector to SMEs in this sector. For this purpose, it will create multimedia management, production, communication and training systems related to new technologies.
ACTIVITIES
Initially, the partners of the project will analyse the new technologies which are emerging in the textiles industry sector in the areas of management, production, communication and training on a transnational level. They will then define methods which can integrate new technologies into SMEs in the textile sector, select those which are commonly agreed to be most relevant and develop suitable materials to apply them. Finally, a special guide will be created. It will introduce the use of multimedia tools which can distribute the new technologies and the consequences of their application.
PRODUCTS
The project will develop special multimedia products to facilitate the distribution of new technologies to SMEs in the textile sector.
