Objective
OBJECTIVES
In the last few years, efforts have been made to harmonise training at the level of different professional branches such as welding and thermal painting at a European level and to acquire transnational recognition of qualifications gained. The objective of this project is to develop uniform training content and training support for European training for thermal spray painters.
ACTIVITIES
A Europe-wide inquiry relating to qualification needs and the professional profile of the industrial sectors affected will form the basis for the design of the training. The development of an interactive multimedia training programme will serve as a support for the theoretical training. The training will be developed in collaboration with various users (apprentices, tutors/mentors, trainers, etc.) to match theoretical to practical training. Finally, the programme will be integrated into national training programmes.
PRODUCTS
The product will consist of a European module for training thermal spray painters comprising: training modules in a national context on the basis of European requirements; and an interactive multimedia training module (in German and English) for the theoretical part, these can be used for self-training.
