Special training for environmentally sound production

Objective

OBJECTIVES
The pressure currently being exerted through public opinion and the series of legislative measures which have been taken in relation to the protection of our environment are gradually leading the world of business to take account of this aspect in its production. If industry does not wish to bear the cost of pollution and environmental damage that it causes, in the medium term, it has no choice but to reform its production processes and make them environmentally friendly. This is why the partners of this project decided to develop training in environmental friendliness for companies which have an impact on the environment.

ACTIVITIES
The training needs of environmentally sensitive companies will be studied in the countries of the partnership. Production processes will be broken down and all sensitive products and operations identified. Recommendations will be formulated for each step and a teaching method will be developed to make training accessible and efficient. The structure of the training will be flexible and able to be transposed to other sectors to respond to the specific needs of each company. This training programme will then be tried out and evaluated in a number of pilot sites and new training tools will be refined in situ.

PRODUCTS
Development of a flexible and adaptable training programme which aims to help companies to develop environmentally friendly production. Creation of training tools.
