Objective
OBJECTIVES
The road, air and sea transport sector is characterised by extremely international activity and therefore requires special training paths compared to national training systems. It is thus proposed to develop training units and tools oriented towards the workplace and active self-training methods. Through co-operation between the partners, the structures of professional training and the qualifications required will be made transparent and enable the SMEs in this sector to guarantee the quality of their training measures. The approach adopted will then serve as a basis for the extension of this project to other countries.
ACTIVITIES
The first phase will concentrate on the self-acquisition of information, rules and concepts concerning procedural and behavioural aspects in the field of international road, air and sea transport on the basis of original documents. Secondly, a training tool will be developed for the acquisition of all the production and work processes in this area. Finally, the production of role-playing games to illustrate the various stages in the work process is envisaged.
PRODUCTS
- Creation of a training package in the form of a manual and a CD-ROM, of case studies and role-playing games.
- Production of a glossary containing terminology for the transport sector in English, French and German.
