Computer based networks as the object of learning and as a co-operation tool for vocational schools in a European network

Objective

OBJECTIVES
This project aims to integrate existing training concepts and tools into an interactive network of interconnected learning sites. The creation of a network should contribute to the development and intensification of professional training. The network approach will promote co-operation between schools with the same professional training theme. On the basis of this interactive learning environment, the project will facilitate direct contact between apprentices, teachers, instructors, companies and the system developers. It will help to improve the quality of professional training, notably by enabling young people to teach themselves very early on in an independent and innovative way by using information technology.

ACTIVITIES
The training concepts and materials which already exist in the field of network technology will be adapted for content and languages. This network of learning sites will be interconnected through the World Wide Web. The material will include case studies, games, simulations and tests. The results, concepts and experiences will be distributed by local associations.
