Objective
OBJECTIVES
The improvement in co-operation between companies and the vocational colleges and the development of practical training concepts are becoming increasingly important factors in adapting initial vocational training to the demands created by commercial and economic changes. By developing and transferring typical examples, the project intends to compare and assess different national and regional initial training models with a view to increasing their efficiency and improving the practical emphasis of the initial training. Again, however, the partners will endeavour to enhance the qualifications of the trainers and teachers as far as their key skills and the group's work are concerned.
ACTIVITIES
The project initially plans to design and create working models at a national level, and to set up regional structures of co-operation between the companies and the vocational colleges through work groups, workshops, networks, etc. This activity is completed by transnational measures consisting of introducing and exchanging the best practices as well as creating a system of communication.
PRODUCTS
- Development of models which can be used to improve co-operation between the companies and vocational colleges.
- Publication of the best practices in the form of a manual on the methods of co-operation between places of learning.
