Development and production of a package of innovative learning materials for French for European trade union officers and representatives, aimed at promoting effective social dialogue in Europe

Objective

OBJECTIVES
Trade union representatives are faced more and more frequently with economic and social changes in the organisation of work and with the wide range of trade union policies. This is why it is important to familiarise them with the European dimension of the labour market and give them the means of acquiring multiple language skills with a view to promoting transnational social dialogue. The project therefore aims to develop language training modules for trade union representatives so that they are able to meet the needs of employees working in transnational enterprises.

ACTIVITIES
The partners in the project intend to develop language training aids for people with different levels of knowledge. Several modules will be set up per level. Basic language skills will be taught here, as well as technical terms used by the trade union representatives. Training aids will be available in the form of training manuals and video cassettes. They will be assessed in a target group of trade union representatives, adjusted and distributed across the EU.

PRODUCTS
The project will produce language training modules for trade union representatives so that they master the languages well enough to widen social dialogue at European level.
