Objective
OBJECTIVES
The command of languages is just one of the skills required for opening up to a European labour market. This is why the project intends to improve the level of knowledge of English and to increase communication skills. It intends to create training tools based on telecommunications aimed at a target group of European employees. It will thus produce a model for introducing telecommunications into open and distance training modules, training aids for learning English and it will attempt to develop telecommunication services to meet the needs arising from language courses.
ACTIVITIES
The project starts by analysing training needs in four Member States of the EU. Syllabuses of language training aids will be developed from the results obtained by different areas of research. The aids will be assessed by pilot groups. Telecommunications will be used on the one hand to create innovatory training tools and to teach pilot groups on the other hand. At the same time, training aids for using telecommunications will be produced for trainers.
