Objective
OBJECTIVES
Many people have lengthy management experience within voluntary organisations, experience which is hardly recognised in that this is not paid work. It is therefore proving necessary to develop a method of crediting this experience and therefore increasing their opportunities of finding paid employment again. This programme will also contribute to national education and training objectives (NETT) by recognising unpaid work. Finally, it will help transfer British, Greek, Irish and Portuguese experiences of basic vocational training to transnational partners. This project is aimed at people who have gained experience and skills in the voluntary sector, particularly men and women returners to the job market, employees, trainers, etc.
ACTIVITIES
In the first phase, the project will make workers involved in the voluntary sector aware of the existence of this type of training. In the second phase, short-term transnational courses and training modules will be set up. At the same time, self-training material and distance training tools will be developed.
