Adaptation of the qualifications to the technological educational and organizational changes in the textile - clothing sector

Objective

OBJECTIVES
The objective of the project is to support organisational changes in companies in the textile sector. It places particular emphasis on adapting and strengthening the vocational training system in order to widen the technical skills of young people to meet the needs of the sector.

ACTIVITIES
Initially, the project will analyse qualifications and the curriculum in the textile and clothing sector. It will then design modules using innovative methods (experimental laboratory simulating a company, self-training, customised modules, etc.). Finally, a multimedia system will be produced, specifically for distance training.

PRODUCTS
- A method of analysing the need for skills so as to meet changes in the textile sector.
- Integrated school-work training projects.
- Distance training modules in the textile sector.
- A glossary of terminology of the different stages of production in the knitwear and clothing sector.
- Multimedia products on the structure and bases of knitwear (software, video, database).
