Objective
OBJECTIVES
The objective of these three year projects is to prepare a distance language training course in English, Danish and Italian. This training must enable those responsible for managing and controlling the environment to acquire language skills in the field in which they work. The programme for this training will be based on a detailed, comparative language audit carried out in the three partner countries. The project also wishes to promote easier, more effective communication between the experts and the European consultants. It is therefore important to increase their confidence in using a foreign language and familiarise them with the new regulations.
ACTIVITIES
The starting point of the project will be a comparative analysis carried out in the three countries to establish the specific needs with regard to languages and regulations. On the basis of this analysis, a syllabus will be prepared and courses developed.
PRODUCTS
A CD-ROM in the three languages mentioned. This means that those responsible for the environment will be able to acquire language skills in the areas of environmental management and environmental audits, etc.
