Access for disadvantaged young people

Objective

OBJECTIVES
A certain section of our population is being increasingly subjected to social and economic marginalisation: the young; ethnic minorities and women wanting to enter the job market. For this reason this project aims to create new approaches and learning materials to be specifically addressed towards this disadvantaged section of the population.

ACTIVITIES
Initially, the partners will draw up an exhaustive list of existing training modules in their own respective countries. By pooling the results training modules for the target groups and trainers will then be designed jointly. With the aim of creating effective training tools and programmes, social partners, employers, regional advisers, training centres and business consultants will be involved in piloting, evaluating, disseminating and transferring the project.

PRODUCTS
Training modules will be created for the leisure and recreation industry, building and construction, retail services/customer care and administration services. The project will also produce training programmes for trainers, supported by training manuals, educational software, placement schemes and a guidance system.
